Current Hair Care Routine

So I thought I would give you an update on my current hair care routine. I’ve been trying out a few things of the past few months and I feel like I’m happy with my hair care at the moment. I’ve been using this routine for over a month now and my hair feels really soft and stays shiny for a few days. Here’s what I’ve been using:

thin hair care

Shampoo and Conditioner

For shampoo and conditioner I have been using the Marc Anthony Thick and Full with Coconut oil. My hair is pretty dry and this shampoo and conditioner does a really good job of keeping it hydrated. I typically wash my hair twice per week, and I will shampoo twice while showering, once to remove product and once to cleanse my hair. The shampoo lathers really well and smells nice. The conditioner is extremely thick so I only use a little bit on the ends of my hair.

Leave in Conditioner

I always like to use a leave in conditioner on my hair while it’s still wet. I’ve been bouncing back and forth between the Marc Anthony one, and the Herbal Essences leave in cream. I will just take a small amount and focus on the ends of my hair and work it up, but avoiding the root area.

Thickening Spray

I just recently bought the Pantene Thickening Spray and so far I’m liking it. I spray about 10-15 sprays around my roots and then let my hair air-dry. It doesn’t add a crazy amount of volume, but definitely a noticeable amount!

I don’t use serum when my hair is freshly washed but maybe the second or third day. I have been using either the Nume White Truffle one, or the Marc Anthony Coconut Oil Spray. I just like to add a little bit to add some extra shine to my hair.

Frequent Trims

I’ve started trimming my hair at home on my own, and I will trim my ends about once a month. I find this helps keep my hair healthy and looking a lot more fresh!

E xx
